Meet the Team: Stava Building Superintendent Shane Cloyde
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, or so the saying goes. For Stava Building Superintendent Shane Cloyde, this adage certainly applies.
Shane first gained an interest in the construction industry 40 years ago, as a young man in high school working alongside his Dad on his various projects.
Shane decided to follow in his footsteps and make a career out of construction. And what a career it has been!
Shane has been a Superintendent with Stava Building for 11 years, working on a wide variety of projects.
Prior to the carwash he is currently building at 41st & Sheridan, he completed the Mercedes Benz & Porsche dealership renovations.
He also spent many years on the road managing projects for a national account that allowed Stava to construct 150+ Dollar General stores in numerous states.
His stamp has been placed on these projects, and numerous more, throughout his tenure with the Stava team.
While his project resume is diverse, the one constant with Shane is his ability to always make friends on his jobsites. The clients, our clients’ client, subcontractors, the janitorial crew – anybody with a piece of the overall project puzzle – has met Shane!
Shane speaks fondly of his son and his family including three perfect grandbabies. He and his wife Dayna enjoy country living and spending time outdoors playing with their four dogs, two cats and five American Quarter Horses.
Throughout the years, Shane has trained all his horses to compete in team roping competitions, and proudly shares “the horses have carried me to the pay window many times.”
Shane is hoping his mares soon produce roping horse prospects. If he has any spare time after constructing or cowboying, Shane enjoys watching his favorite television show, Yellowstone!
