Tulsa Opera Excited To Reveal Renovated Facilities, 2020-21 Season Lineup

Join the Tulsa Opera for their Open House & Season Reveal Event, on Tuesday, December 10th at 4:45 pm. The event will take place at the Tulsa Opera office located at 1610 S. Boulder Avenue, Tulsa. Light hor d’oeuvres and drinks will be provided. Click here to RSVP to the event.

The Open House will feature the transformation of space the Tulsa Opera has started, with Phase I of the multi-phase addition and renovation coming to an end. The first round of construction improved the front lobby, rehearsal space, wardrobe department, workshop area, administrative offices, and props department.

The highly anticipated vision for the next phase of construction will be on display at the Open House. This theater expansion will include a new 200-seat intimate performance venue and provide a forum for exciting new repertoire and offers flexibility and financial opportunities that will help sustain Tulsa Opera for decades to come.

Other elements of the transformation include combining the lobby and library into one large space to accommodate the supporters of these smaller venues, before the performance and during intermission. There will also be an upgrade to the building exterior.

Following the walkthrough, the 2020-21 Opera season will be announced. Tulsa’s own silvery soprano Sarah Coburn will perform an aria from one of next season’s operas. A performance by Tulsa Youth Opera will follow.
